A community based pot-luck recipe site  launched in 2015.

What does Halal Recipe mean?
It means a recipe that does not include impermissible ingredients according to Islamic dietary guidelines [e.g., does not include: alcohol; forbidden meats; by-products of forbidden items; blood; etc.].  

While foods cannot contain impermissible ingredients there is no specific cooking method that needs to be followed.
